Our Story

It started with a quiet evening, a soft flame, and a need for comfort I couldn't quite name.

In the middle of life's noise, I found peace in the simple glow of a candle - the way it gently filled a room, softened a moment, held a memory. That feeling stayed with me. So I began pouring my own. Slowly. Thoughtfully. Scent by scent, I created Melts & Co - a collection of handmade candles crafted not just to light a room, but to warm a heart.

Every candle is a little piece of that peace I once needed and now I get to share it with you.

Candle Care

To ensure your Melts & Co candles burn safely and last longer, follow these simple care tips:

  • Trim the Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent excessive smoke and soot.
  • First Burn: Allow the candle to burn until the wax melts to the edges of the container on the first use, creating an even burn pool.
  • Burn Time: Limit each burn to no more than 4 hours to avoid overheating and tunneling.
  • Safe Surface: Always burn on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from flammable materials.
  • Drafts: Keep candles away from drafts, fans, or air vents to prevent uneven burning and soot.
  • Extinguish Properly: Use a snuffer or gently blow out the flame; never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the scent and wax.
